No Active Criminal Prosecutions

As of February 2026, there are no pending criminal cases against any individuals in connection with the Epstein case.

On July 7, 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice announced it would not pursue charges "against uncharged third parties" and declared that "no further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted" in the Epstein case.

This announcement drew bipartisan criticism. The Epstein Files Transparency Act was passed by Congress (427-1 in the House, unanimously in the Senate) and signed by President Trump on November 19, 2025, mandating release of DOJ records. On January 30, 2026, the DOJ released over 3 million pages, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos.

Important Context About This Tracker

What this tracker includes: Only individuals who have been formally charged with crimes by prosecutors in connection with Epstein's sex trafficking operation.

What this tracker does NOT include:

• People who appear in flight logs or contact lists (being on a plane is not a crime)
• People named in depositions as acquaintances (knowing Epstein is not a crime)
• Civil lawsuit defendants who settled without criminal charges
• Individuals named in allegations that were never criminally prosecuted

Civil settlements are not convictions. Prince Andrew settled Virginia Giuffre's civil lawsuit in February 2022 for an undisclosed sum without admitting wrongdoing. He was never criminally charged. Civil settlements do not establish guilt.

Being named in documents ≠ committing crimes. The Epstein files contain thousands of names including victims, witnesses, employees, journalists, attorneys, and people mentioned in passing. Inclusion in these documents does not imply criminal conduct.

In Memoriam: Virginia Giuffre (1983-2025)

Virginia Giuffre, one of the most prominent survivors of Epstein's abuse and a tireless advocate for victims' rights, died by suicide on April 25, 2025, at her home in Western Australia. She was 41.

Giuffre provided critical testimony that contributed to Ghislaine Maxwell's conviction. She founded SOAR (Speak Out, Act, Reclaim), a nonprofit supporting trafficking survivors. Her posthumous memoir, "Nobody's Girl," was published in October 2025.
